Objective To investigate the effect of Tongxinluo capsule combined with tirofiban on unstable angina pectoris

so as to provide a reference for clinical treatment. Methods A total of 100 patients with unstable angina pectoris admitted to Qixian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected as the study subjects. The patients were assigned to the control group and observation group by random number table

with 50 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received conventional therapy

and the patients in the observation group Tongxinluo capsule on the basis of the control group. The treatment effect was compared between the 2 groups. The levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein（hs-CRP）

matrix metalloproteinase-9（MMP-9）

total cholesterol（TC）

triacylglycerol（TG）

low-density lipoprotein cholesterol（LDL-C） and homocysteine（Hcy） were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results The overall response rate of the observation group was 90%

which was significantly higher than that of the control group（70.00%

and the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）. Conclusion Tongxinluo capsule combined with tirofiban has significant clinical effects in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris. It can enhance the blood lipid level

reduce the tissue inflammatory response and improve the therapeutic effect. These benefits hold promise for a wider application of this technique in clinical practice.
