Objective To investigate the effects of laparoscopic perforation repair on the gastrointestinal function and inflammatory factor levels in patients with gastric perforation. Methods Sixty patients with gastric perforation admitted to a hospital in Nanyang from February 2018 to December 2020 were selected and divided into a control group and an experimental group using a random number table
with 30 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with traditional open repair and patients in the experimental group were treated with laparoscopic perforation repair
and the recovery time of bowel sounds
time to first flatus
hospitalization time and postoperative inflammatory factor level were compared between the 2 groups. Results The recovery time of bowel sounds
time to first flatus and hospitalization time were all shorter in the experimental group than in the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The differences between the preoperative serum interleukin-1β(IL-1β)
procalcitonin(PCT) and interleukin-10(IL-10) levels in the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05); the postoperative serum IL-1β
PCT and IL-10 levels in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of laparoscopic perforation repair for gastric perforation is better than that of traditional open repair
as it helps to promote the recovery of postoperative gastrointestinal function and reduce postoperative inflammatory reactions. Therefore
