Objective To explore the application value of comprehensive project nursing in patients with uterine fibroids. Methods Ninety-eight patients with uterine fibroids admitted to a hospital in Nanyang City from July 2019 to June 2021 were selected and divided into observation and control groups using the random number table method

with 49 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received conventional care

and patients in the observation group were given comprehensive project care on the basis of the control group. The recovery time of gastrointestinal function

postoperative recovery

complications and sleep quality before and after intervention were compared between the 2 groups. Results The recovery time of voluntary exhaustion

bowel sounds

and feeding was shorter in the observation group than in the control group

and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）. The PSQI scores of patients in the two groups were lower than those before the intervention

and lower in the observation group than in the control group

with statistically significant（P <0.05）. The differences were not statistically significant（χ~2=0.136

P=0.712） when comparing the complication rates of patients in the two groups. Conclusion Comprehensive project care applied to patients with uterine fibroids can accelerate postoperative rehabilitation

shorten the gastrointestinal recovery time

improve their sleep quality

and has a low risk of complications.
