Objective To explore the correlation between urinary protein/urine albumin creatinine ratio(UACR)
blood lipid parameters and disease severity in patients with preeclampsia(PE). Methods A total of 160 patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy in a hospital in Liaoning Province from January 2017 to May 2020 were divided into PE group(n=86) and hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy(HDP) group(n=74). Another 90 normal pregnant women who underwent antenatal examination in the hospital in the same period were selected as the control group. The basic data of maternal age
body mass index(BMI)
blood lipid parameters [triglyceride(TG)
total cholesterol(TC)
high density lipoprotein(HDL) and low density lipoprotein(LDL)] and UACR levels were compared among the three groups. The correlation of blood lipid parameters and UACR with the incidence and severity of PE was analyzed. Results There was no significant difference in maternal age and gestation times among the three groups(P>0.05)
but there was significant difference in BMI and Delivery pregnancy week(P<0.05). There were significant differences in the levels of UACR
TG
TC and LDL among the three groups(P<0.05). The levels of UACR
TG and LDL in PE group were higher than those in HDP group and control group
while the level of TC in HDP group was lower than that in control group and PE group
the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The results of ROC curve analysis showed that UACR was the maximal efficacy in differential diagnosis of PE(AUC=0.997
P<0.001). The levels of UACR
TG
TC and LDL in patients with severe PE were significantly higher than those in patients with mild PE
the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05). Spearman analysis showed that UACR
TG and LDL were positively correlated with the severity of the disease(P<0.05). Conclusion The levels of UACR
TG and LDL are highly correlated with the severity of PE
which can be used for the diagnosis and evaluation of PE.
