Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of floating acupuncture combined with ordinary acupuncture and rehabilitation training in the treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome stage Ⅰ.Methods Ninety patients with post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome stage Ⅰ admitted to a hospital in Chongqing from June 2017 to June 2019 were selected for the study and divided into experimental and control groups using a random number table
with 45 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given ordinary acupuncture and rehabilitation training
and patients in the experimental group were treated with floating acupuncture in addition;both groups were treated for 1 month. The visual analogue scale(VAS) scores of shoulder pain
the degree of hand swelling
the Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA) scores of the upper limbs
the Barthel index and the clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results Before treatment
there were no statistically significant differences in VAS scores
degree of hand swelling
FMA scores and Barthel index between the 2 groups(P>0.05).After treatment
the VAS scores and hand swelling of the two groups were reduced than those before treatment
the FMA scores and Barthel index were larger than those before treatment
the VAS scores and degree of han swelling of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group
and the FMA scores and Barthel index were larger than those of the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment for patients in the experimental group was97.78%
which was higher than that of the control group(82.22%)
and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of floating acupuncture combined with ordinary acupuncture and rehabilitation training in the treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome stage Ⅰ is obvious;thus
it is worthy of clinical promotion.
