Objective: To probe into the treatment regimen for a child with hemophilia complicated with joint infection. Methods: Combined with changes of the joint symptoms and signs of the child
the treatment regimen for joint bleeding and infection in the child were comprehensively analyzed
and the evaluation was performed based on the retrieved evidence. Results: Through the infusion of human coagulation factor Ⅷ (FⅧ) for hemostasis and cefathiamidine for anti-infection treatment
the symptoms of joint swelling and fever of the child were significantly improved
the blood routine and inflammatory indicators were significantly improved
and the child finally discharged. Conclusion: Children with hemophilia should be given coagulation factor infusion in the acute stage of joint bleeding
and start prophylactic infusion of FⅧ treatment to reduce the joint bleeding and other bleeding events. Meanwhile
appropriate antibiotics are supposed to be selected to treat the joint infection.
