Objective To investigate the effect of chronic disease follow-up on the compliance with pulmonary rehabilitation training in patients with COPD.Methods Sixty COPD patients who were discharged from a hospital in Chongqing from December 2017 to March 2018 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into control group and study group by random number table
with 30 cases in each group.Patients in the control group performed pulmonary rehabilitation training on their own.Patients in the study group received chronic disease follow-up on the basis of the control group. The COPD assessment test scale(CAT)scores and the forced expiratory volume at 1 second as a percentage of the predicted value(FEV1/pre%)were compared between the two groups at discharge and after intervention.Patients′pulmonary rehabilitution compliance after intervention was compared. Results At discharge
the CAT scores of the study group and the control group were(23.65±10.00)points and(23.81±10.12)points
respectively;after intervention
the CAT scores of the study group and control group were(8.94±10.79)points and(21.92±10.18)points
respectively. The CAT scores of the two groups after intervention were lower than those at discharge
and that of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The proportion of patients with good compliance in the study group was 80.0%
which was higher than 50.0%in the control group
and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Chronic disease follow-up can improve the compliance with pulmonary rehabilitation training among discharged patients with COPD
promoting the improvement of clinical symptoms.Considering the significant clinical effect
