Objective To discuss the present situation of psychological resilience among non-key middle school students
and to provide a reference basis for its enhancement. Methods The research was conducted by randomly selecting 451 students from one of Guiyang non-key middle schools through analyzing the results of adolescent resilience scales. Results The scores of resilience of non-key middle school students were 3.74±0.49
being of the middle level
that the scores of family support(3.95±0.71)were the highest
while the scores of self-support(3.48±0.55)were the lowest. There were no significant differences between the resilience scores of gender
grade and maternal educational level among those students. However
significant differences could be found between self-support and social support in terms of different sex(P<0.05)and between family support and social support in regard to grades diversity(P<0.05).Meanwhile
there were significant differences in the scores of social support concerning maternal educational level diversity(P<0.05).Conclusion Gender
grade and maternal education level are key factors of better psychological resilience among non-key middle school students. Therefore
joint efforts from the 3aspects should be made to enhance students′resilience.
