Objective To study the correlation between different working environment and incidence of fatty liver in staff of one railway company. Methods The research conducted by selecting 6 703 staff of one northern railway company from July to August in 2013 that included eligible medical examination data and questionnaires from one health management center in Shijiazhuang. The study explored state of fatty liver by employing transabdominal sonography
compared the sate between different age groups
and investigated the incidence of fatty liver between different groups of work intensity
work nature and way of production. Results The total incidence of fatty liver occupied 31.4% among 6 703 cases. The rate in men(35.2%)was obviously higher than that in women(7.98%)with statistically significant difference(χ

moderate and severe fatty liver was 954
866 and 285
occupying the proportion of 45.3%
41.1%
13.5% separately.The results were statistically significant(χ

work nature and way of production. Conclusion Different working environment can induce distinct incidence of fatty liver. They strongly correlated with each other.
