Objective To analyze the adverse reactions of cephalosporin in clinical application and take appropriate preventive measures so as to improve the drug safety of cephalosporin.Method The clinical data of 108 cases of patients who had adverse reactions to antibiotic medication received in a hospital of Mudanjiang from April 2013 to April 2014 were retrospectively analyzed the adverse reactions and related preventive measures.Results All adverse reactions were mainly in the gastrointestinal tract and urinary system.45 cases of adverse reactions were caused by cefoperazone

accounting for 41.7%;13cases were caused by ceftazidime

accounting for 12.0%;18cases were caused by ceftriaxone

accounting for 16.7% and 32 cases were caused by cefotaxime

accounting for 29.6%.Conclusion Cephalosporin is widely used with a few adverse reactions

but individuals have different symptoms;therefore

it is necessary to fully understand the adverse reactions of its drugs in order to take timely measures to reduce its risk and improve its safety.
