Objective To understand the status

attitudes and influencing factors of love among middle school students at present

so as to provide critical guidelines for students to deal with emotional problems correctly.Method A total of 1088 middle school students from Shandong

Fujian and Guangdong provinces were investigated by anonymous questionnaire.Results About 27.5% of middle school students had been involved in love

among which the ratio of love of the male

senior school and inland students were higher than that of female

junior school and coastal students.However

the proportion of lovelorn was up to 72.3%.In terms of love attitude

57.5% of students thought that love should be guided correctly

while 7.6% thought they should not be interfered.The results indicated that most students held tolerant or approval attitude to love.With regard to influencing factors

only 7.2%of students were in love due to romantic emotion

while others were driven by non-love affairs.In the aspect of lovelorn attitude

13.4%of students were addicted to pessimism

turning love to hate or committing suicide when they were disappointed in love.Conclusion The phenomenon of love among students is becoming generalization.Meanwhile the influencing factors tend to be diverse.Most students hold tolerant attitude to love

but the love of adolescent have low success rate

so there would have a significantly negative impact on their learning and life when they could not treat lovelorn affairs correctly.Thus it is critically necessary for school

families and society to supply proper guidance for adolescent.
