Objective To probe into the relationship between face-audience apprehension and social support.Method A survey of 376university students was conducted using the face-audience apprehension scale for university student and the child and adolescent social support scale.Results Scores on face-audience apprehension in female students were significantly higher than male students;scores on face-audience apprehension in non-student leaders were significantly higher than student leaders

and the differences were statistically significant（p<0.01）.Besides interview apprehension and utilization of support

utilization of support and social support（p< 0.01）.Subjective support was a significant predictor of overall scores on face-audience apprehension and each dimension;objective support and utilization of support were significant predictors of apprehension on stage（p<0.01）.Conclusion The difference in face-audience apprehension is significant in sex and being student leaders or not.Faceaudience apprehension has significantly negative correlations with social support（p<0.01）.Subjective support is a significant predictor of face-audience apprehension.
