17 cases were diagnosed as having malignant tumor by pathological examination.And the accuracy of color doppler ultrasound in the etiologic diagnosis was 78.9%.Differences in Vs and RI of kidney tumor with different sizes had no statistical significance（p>0.05）.Conclusion Color doppler ultrasound has affirmative value in the diagnosis of kidney tumor.Most important of all

the evaluation of color doppler flow imaging（CDFI） technology on the blood flow distribution in the tumor plays an important role in distinguishing benign kidney tumor and malignant kidney tumor from one another.Atypical pathological changes should be diagnosed by other imaging examinations
