Objective To have knowledge about health conditions of faculty members with senior associate title and middle-level management staff in universities;analyze the factors affecting their health

and to provide a basis for the prevention and health care work of universities.Method The health examination results of 265 faculty members with senior associate title and middle-level management staff in our university in 2011 were analyzed

and the detection rate for various diseases were counted.Results The top three detected diseases in health examinations were lobular hyperplasia of mammary gland

hemorrhoid and overweight with a respective detection rate of 90.01%

29.81%;The forth came both the fatty liver and ametropia with the same detection rate of 28.30%.Conclusion The detected diseases of faculty members in universities mostly relate to their life style and occupation

so healthy life styles and behaviors should be promoted among them.The school authority should pay attention to health conditions of the faculty members and annual health examination is necessary.
