Objective To explore the relationship between serum high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and coronary heart disease(CHD)
and to analyze if hs-CRP has predictive value for CHD.Method 240 suspected cases of cardiovascular disease received the examination of coronary angiography and the test of serum hs-CRP
and the results were compared and analyzed. Results Three parts 0~<3 mg/L
3~<9 mg/L and ≥9 mg/L after division according to the concentration tested by hs-CRP and their corresponding detection rates of CHD were 54.17%
63.79% and 70.97% respectively.The difference between 3~<9 mg/L and 0~<3 mg/L was of detection significance(χ2=4.80
P<0.05).The abnormal rate of hs-CRP in patients with CHD was 55.48%
and non-CHD patients 41.49% and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.48
P<0.05).The difference between 3~<9 mg/L and 0~<3 mg/L or ≥9 mg/L was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Serum hs-CRP is a risk factor of CHD and is closely related to the occurrence
development and predictability of CHD.It can be used as the monitoring index of early diagnosis and condition of CHD
