Objective To analyze the epidemical conditions of flu cases at our university and to explore scientific and effective counter measures.Method Based on all records in the fever clinic and isolation wards in the hospital of the university

a retrospective investigation was undertaken and counter measures were discussed.Results 1 113 cases were confirmed in the outbreak of flu

accounting for 6.25% of the total number of students.708 dorm rooms

215 classes and 13 departments were involved.And the epidemic lasted 30 days.With Haddon modes employed

counter measures were taken before

in and after the outbreak

so that emergency preparation and effective reaction could be made.Conclusion Scientific

practical and multi-dimensional counter measures were the key to preventing and controlling epidemic outbreak at universities.
