17 cases of TB infection among stnderts within 3 months in Huangshan Wnirersity were reported. Of them

9 from one class were infected at the same time. Among the total 203 students in that department

the PPD examination results of 24 students were severe mascular and that of 174 was mascular

and the infection rate is 97.5%.The data of epidemic disease-TB in this college in recent years was analysed in the paper

a summary was made about its outbreak

control and prevention

and several factors were discussed

such as lack of knowledge of TB

mental stress and malnutrition that led to the collective infection of TB in colleges and universities.Finally

some suggestions to colleges and universities on how to prevent and treat TB were put forward.
