Objective To explore the effect of enlapril on preventing and treating typeⅡdiabetic nephropathy in earlier period. Method The patients of type 2 diabetic nephropathy in earlier period are divided into 2 groups

group C treated with enlapril and group D not treated with enlapril

and their relevant data are found ont and made contrastive analysis. Results The value of uAlb before and after the treatment in cure growp are 180±56 mg

112±25 mg respectively. The difference is statistically significant（t=2.48

p<0.05）. The value of uAlb/Cr before and after the treatment in cure growp are 154±35 mg/g

p<0.01）. and creatinine clearance rate remains much the same（p>0.05）

The value of Ccr before and after the treatment in contrast group are 96.2±13.2 mL/min

p<0.01）. Conclusion Enlapril can reduce the high filtration of renal glomerulus
