Observation on the therapeutic effect of compound Ganoderma kidney invigorating method combined with Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside tablets in the treatment of early diabetic nephropathy
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of the compound Ganoderma kidney invigorating method combined with Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside tablets in the treatment of early diabetic nephropathy and its effect on serum lipoprotein α and transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1) levels. Methods A total of 86 patients with early diabetic nephropathy admitted to a hospital in Shenyang from July 2018 to June 2020 were selected as subjects and were allocated into the control group(n=43) and observation group(n=43) according to the random number table. The patients in the control group received basic treatment and Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside tablets
and the patients in the observation group compound Ganoderma kidney invigorating method in addition to the treatment of the control group. Patients in both groups received continuous treatment for 12 weeks. The clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups. The renal function parameters [urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER)
cystatin C(CysC)
serum creatinine(SCr)
blood urea nitrogen(BUN)]
Hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)
fasting plasma glucose(FPG)
blood lipid parameters [total cholesterol(TC)
triglyceride(TG)
low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)]
serum lipoprotein α
and TGF-β1 levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. The incidence of adverse reactions during treatment was compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 88.37%
which was higher than that of the control group(74.42%)
but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment
the levels of UAER
CysC
SCr
BUN
HbA1c
FPG
TC
TG
LDL-C
serum lipoprotein α and TGF-β1 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment
and the observation group was lower than the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions during treatment in the observation group was 23.26%
which was lower than that in the control group(44.19%)
and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compound Ganoderma kidney invigorating method combined with Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside tablets can effectively improve renal function
regulate blood glucose and blood lipid levels
reduce serum lipoprotein α and TGF-β1 levels
and lower the risk of adverse reactions in patients with early diabetic nephropathy.
