Application of motivational psychological intervention combined with PDCA cycle care in patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy
Objective To explore the effect of motivational psychological intervention combined with plan-do-check-action(PDCA) cycle care on psychological status and maternal and infant outcomes in patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy. Methods A total of 132 women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy admitted to a hospital in Luohe City from June 2018 to June 2021 were selected as subjects and assigned to a study group and a control group using the random number table method
with 66 cases in each group. The women in the control group received conventional care
and the women in the study group motivational psychological intervention in combination with PDCA cycle care after receiving the conventional care. The psychological status [Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS) scores] and maternal and infant outcomes
disease awareness
compliance
and Newcastle Satisfaction with Nursing Scale(NSNS) scores of the mothers in the 2 groups were compared before and after the intervention. Results Maternal disease awareness and compliance rates in the study group were higher than those in the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). SAS and SDS scores in the study group after the intervention were lower than those in the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The rates of preterm delivery
cesarean section and postpartum hemorrhage in the study group were lower than those in the control group
and the differences were all statistically significant(P <0.05). The rates of fetal distress and neonatal asphyxia in the study group were lower than those in the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The neonatal Apgar scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The maternal care satisfaction scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The application of motivational psychological intervention in combination with PDCA cycle care to mothers with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy can improve maternal disease awareness and compliance
reduce negative emotions
and improve maternal and infant outcomes.
