Application of homogeneous medical care model in patients after high-frequency electrosurgery for colon polyps
Objective To explore the effect of homogeneous medical care model in patients after high-frequency electrosurgery for colon polyps. Methods Eighty-seven patients who underwent high-frequency electrosurgery for colon polyps in a hospital in Nanyang from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the study subjects
and were divided into an observation group(45 cases) and a control group(42 cases) using the random number table method. Patients in the control group were given conventional care
and patients in the observation group were given homogeneous medical care model on the basis of the control group. The postoperative quality of life
postoperative recovery and nursing satisfaction of patients in the 2 groups were compared. Results The scores of the four dimensions of social function
physical function
somatic function and psychological function in the postoperative health survey scale of patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group
and the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05). The time to first ambulation
the time of the first exhaustion and the hospital stay were shorter in the observation group than in the control group
and the differences were all statistically significant(P <0.05). The nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group was 91.11%(41/45)
which was higher than that of 73.81%(31/42) in the control group
and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.557
P=0.032). Conclusion Homogeneous medical care interventions for patients after high-frequency electrosurgery for colon polyps can help improve patients’ postoperative quality of life and nursing satisfaction and promote their postoperative recovery.
