Applic ation of humanized nursing care in postoperative rehabilitation of hand burn patients undergoing keloid plastic surgery
Objective To explore the effect of humanized nursing intervention in the postoperative rehabilitation of hand burn patients undergoing keloid plastic surgery. Methods One hundred and three hand burn patients who underwent keloid plastic surgery in a hospital in Kaifeng from January 2019 to February 2020 were selected and divided into a control group(44 cases) and an observation group(59 cases) using the random number table method. Patients in the control group were treated with conventional nursing interventions after surgery. Patients in the observation group received humanized nursing interventions after surgery. The psychological status
finger joint total active motion(TAM) at 6 months after surgery
and grip strength before and at 6 months after surgery were compared between the two groups. Results The self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and self-rating depression scale(SDS) scores of patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after 7 d of nursing intervention
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the preoperative grip strength of the 2 groups of patients(P>0.05); the grip strength of the 2 groups of patients at 6 months after surgery was greater than that before surgery and greater in the observation group than in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). The excellent TAM rate of patients in the observation group at 6 months after surgery was 91.52%
which was higher than that of the control group(75.00%)
and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.246
P=0.022). The complication rate of patients in the observation group was 5.08%
which was lower than that of 20.45% in the control group
and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=5.784
P=0.016). Conclusion Humanized nursing interventions can promote hand function recovery
relieve adverse emotions and reduce the occurrence of complications in hand burn patients after keloid plastic surgery.
