Effect of programmed nursing intervention on the quality of rehabilitation of patients after hip arthroplasty
Objective To explore the effect of programmed nursing intervention on the quality of rehabilitation of patients after hip arthroplasty. Methods Sixty patients who underwent hip arthroplasty in a hospital in Henan Province from May 2019 to April 2021 were selected for this study. The patients were divided into conventional nursing group(30 cases) and programmed nursing group(30 cases) using the random number table method. Patients in the conventional nursing group received conventional nursing interventions
and patients in the programmed nursing group were given programmed nursing interventions on the basis of conventional nursing. the scores of Harris Hip Scale and Visual Analog Scale were compared before and at 3 months of intervention. The incidence of adverse events
including lower limb deep vein thrombosis and prosthesis dislocation
during hospitalization was compared between the 2 groups. Results Before the intervention
there was no statistically significant difference between the Harris Hip Scale scores of the 2 groups(P>0.05). At 3 months of intervention
the Harris Hip Scale scores of both groups were higher than those before the intervention
and the programmed nursing group had higher scores than the conventional nursing group
with was statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Before the intervention
there was no statistically significant difference between the visual analog scale scores of patients in the 2 groups(P>0.05). At 3 months of intervention
the visual analog scale scores of patients in both groups were lower than before the intervention
and the programmed nursing group had lower scores than the conventional nursing group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse events in the programmed nursing group was lower than that in the conventional nursing group
and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Programmed nursing intervention can effectively improve the rehabilitation quality of patients after hip arthroplasty
reduce the occurrence of prosthesis dislocation and lower limb deep vein thrombosis
and promote the rapid recovery of hip function
which makes it worthy of clinical promotion and application.
