The e ffect of detailed care model on activities of daily living and neurological functions in patients with severe hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage
Objective To explore the effect of detailed care model on activities of daily living(ADL) and neurological functions in patients with severe hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Methods Ninety-six patients with severe hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage who were treated in a hospital in Xinyang City from August 2017 to December 2020 were selected as study subjects and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the treatment time
with 51 cases in the control group and 45 cases in the observation group. The patients in the control group were given conventional nursing interventions and the patients in the observation group were given detailed nursing interventions on the basis of the patients in the control group
and the patients in both groups were nursed for 10 d. The length of stay
complications and nursing satisfaction of the patients in the two groups were compared
and the ADL
simple Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)
and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) scores of the patients in the two groups were compared before and 5 d and 10 d after nursing. Results The patients in the observation group had a shorter hospital stay than the control group
and the incidence of nosocomial infections and pressure sores were also lower than those in the control group(2.22% vs. 13.73%and 2.22% vs. 15.69%)
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Before nursing care
the differences in ADL and FMA scores between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05); at 5 d of nursing care
the ADL and FMA scores of patients in both groups were higher than before nursing care and higher in the observation group than in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05); at 10 d of nursing care
the ADL and FMA scores of patients in both groups were higher than before nursing care and higher in the observation group than in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). In addition
the ADL and FMA scores of patients in the observation group were higher than those at 5 d of care
and the FMA scores of patients in the control group were higher than those at 5 d of care
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Before nursing care
the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05) when comparing the NIHSS scores between the two groups; at 5 d of nursing care
the NIHSS scores of patients in both groups were lower than before nursing care and lower in the observation group than in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05); at 10 d of nursing care
the NIHSS scores of patients in both groups were lower than before nursing care and lower in the observation group than in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P <0.05). In addition
the NIHSS scores of patients in both groups were lower than those at 5 d of care
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The total satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group was 95.56%
which was higher than that of patients in the control group(82.35%)
and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The detailed nursing intervention can improve the prognostic quality
activities of daily living and neurological functions of patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage
Application of risk precautionary management in gynecological perioperative care management
Application of solution focused approach-based psychological intervention in perioperative period of patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage
The effect of JCI-based pain management on the perioperative pain level in patients underwent total hip arthroplasty
Comprehensive nursing in transumbilical laparoendoscopic single-site surgery for acute appendicitis
Application of multidisciplinary team-fast track surgery in the perioperative nursing of patients with degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis
