Objective To investigate factors affecting future fertility of female college students and related solutions.Methods In 2014

2 182 female students from Nanyang Normal University were randomly selected to take a self-designed questionnaire about factors affecting future fertility of female college students to survey their habits

menstruation

diseases affecting fertility and pre-marital sex and so on.Results Only 22.82%cleaned their genitals every day

36.62% had abnormal menstrual cycle and 41.52% suffered dysmenorrheal.The highest incidence of diseases affecting fertility was vaginitis

accounting for 39.92%

followed by pelvic fluid

cervical erosion

polycystic ovary syndrome

hyperprolactinemia and thyroid disease.903 female students had premarital sex

accounting for 41.38%;201were pregnant

accounting for 9.21%.Conclusion Unhealthy habits

irregular menstruation

gynecological diseases and premarital sex have some effect on future fertility of female college students.Through publicity and education

they can realize and promptly correct their bad habits and treat diseases affecting their future fertility so that their future fertility can be protected effectively.
