Objective To systematically evaluate the application of PBL (Problem-based Learning) in the teaching process of health management major in China. Methods Chinese and English electronic database were systematically retrieved. Information was collected according to the information extraction table and analyzed. Results 15 papers were included in the analysis. Among those

9 were cross-section study and 6 were theoretical analysis. 6 of 9 papers showed that experimental and control group were established to compare difference of teaching effect of PBL and LBL (Lecture-based learning). All demonstrated that PBL was better than LBL. Conclusion Compared with the traditional LBL teaching method

PBL can promote the students learning effect. However

due to the large difference in the quality of literature

more studies were needed to determine the effect of PBL.
