[Abstract]Objective: To study whether the PBL teaching method is accepted by students of independent college

and how individual factors affect the results. Methods: The PBL teaching method was applied to the pharmaceutical marketing course in Clinical Medical College of TianJin Medical University. Questionnaire survey on whether students accept PBL teaching method.The questionnaire data were further analyzed using binary logistic regression

to find the individual factors influencing students' acceptance of PBL teaching method .SPSS 19.0 software was used for statistical analysis .Results: The PBL method was accepted bystudents

but the acceptability was very different. Using binary logistic regression analysis on the questionnaire data further and found that personality is the important factors that affect students' attitude in PBL

the other students’ individual factors are learning time

learning motivation

learning ability and style. Conclusion: The PBL teaching method should be used to encourage the positive speech of students who are introverted in the course of pharmaceutical marketing. Use the power of the group to improve the teamwork ability of students. Teachers should pay attention to encourage students to adapt to discussion. And optimize teaching arrangement and PBL teaching method.
