The clinical internship of medical imaging technology undergraduates is a key link for imaging technology students to turn to imaging technologists. It is directly related to the quality of medical imaging technology talents development and plays an important role in the education process. However

there are a series of problems in the internship of imaging technology students: for example

there are wide variaty of diseases and anatomical knowledge involved in the imaging department

and there is a lag in the description of advanced imaging techniques and sequences between textbooks and practice. In addition

the teachers’ level are uneven

and the students’ autonomous learning is not strong. Based on the above problems

some improvement were implemented

including the establishment of tutor system

training of internship teaching team

establishment of single-point attendance system and examination system

adoption of pluralistic teaching methods

increase of interns operation opportunities

and so on. Finally

the quality and effect of undergraduate internship teaching in medical imaging technology was improved significantly.
