to repair severed tendons. To date

31 patients (37 fingers) have been implanted with the siliconrod

and 25 of these cases (31 fingers) have been followed up for more than 1 year.Overall

our series results are not as good as Hunter’s. This is because the Fatory could not control the quality of the silicon rod

therefore the tissue reaction is much more severe after implanting. We found the quality of type-7501 is much better tha

we compared 2 different implanting niethods that the conidion of the cases which were implanted proximaly in the forearm are much poorer than those in the palmoIn order to promote the success of tendon repair. We must improve the quality of our medical silicon prothesis and propose a medical standard for our country.
