he extrapyramidal symptoms including rigidity neck
staring.salivation
tongue out of the mouth and opisthotonos occurred in 27 children
from 1 month to 14 years
froM being administrated with primperan
chorromarzini or heloperidol. The symptoms lasted serveral minites
with longest of 2 hours
and relapsed at an interval period of minites to hours. All childrenwere without uncon-sciousness and had normal examination of nervous system
EEG and CSF
The dose of primperan administrated in this study was lower than those reported. The higher morbility was found in chlldren than in infants. This was probably due to misdignosis of the onset in infants. The symptoms may disappear wtih termination of the durg.fluid transfusion
sadating treatment or administration of seopolanini.
