his paper reported the microalbtuminuria was mezestired in 60 cases of system lupus erythematosu(SLE)anddennatomyositis by using urinary pnjtein to creatinine rtio(Pr/ Cr)in a single voided urine sample. The resultsshowed the patients with clinical positive proteinuria had a significatnt elevated Pr/Cr.All SLE and 14/22 cases ofdennatomyositis with clinical negative proteinuria had also elevated Pr/Cr.The tudy suggested that the result of Pr/Cr measure was much correspondent with the one of proteinuria qualitative test and this method of Pr/Cr measure isa more sensitive indicator than proteinuria qualitative test for the early diagnosis of renal damage in the connective tissue diseases.
