according to the amounts of protein in 24 hrs urine。The measureing and studyingresults showed that there were 9 cases decreasing in BMD among 72 cases in group A

and 15 cases decreasing among 19 cases in group C. Thereduction rate of BMD were 12.5%

2%and 78. 9% repectivey.The difference in value of BMDbetween group A and group C was significiant (P<0.01).It also showed that the reduction of BMDhas something to do with the excretive amounts of urine protein。So the value of BMD can beregarded as one of the indexs for monitoring of bone metabolism disturbance in diabeticnephropathy.
