HPLC method was established for the determination of α linolenic acids and otherunsaturated fatty acids in vegetable oils.Samples are directly determined after methy lesterationand eluted by constant mobil phase.The linear range was 5- 30μg/20μl and recovery was83.6±0.8%
the variation coefficients within one day and between days were 1.2～2.3%。The resultsfor the determination of linseed oil from inner Mongolia were about 55 %
22%and 16% forα linolenic acid.linoleic acid and oleic acid respectively。This method is sunple and feasible.
