The clinical significance of determining serum CRP、a1 - AT、plasma FN concentration at pre-and post operative periods in aged patients with abdominal operation[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 1997,(4).DOI:
Serum CRP. a1 - AT. plasma FN were measured in 51 aged patients and 18 middle-aged and young patients at pre - and post-operative periods. The cases were divided into three groupa:A (the aged with infection); B(the aged with no infecition); C (non - aged patienes with infection). As a result
pre- operation CRP conceneration in grpou A und C was significantly higher than that of group B There was no difference between group A and C.FN concentration in group A and C was significantly lower than that in group B. CRP concentration of the three groups raised quickly one day after operation
that of group B began to decrease 3 days after operation and restored to the gre - opration level at the 7yh day. CRP concentration in group A and C decreased at 5th day after operation and raised again at 7th day. There was no difference between group A and C. FN concentration in group A and C were lower than that in group B after operation. As to a1 - AT
there was no differene between the three groups. Concluaions: That post - operation CRP concentration keeps rasing and FN concentration keeps decreasing suggests an infection in the patient.
