The changes of copper, manganese, zinc, iron, SOD and MDAin diaphragm muscles of the diabetic rats[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 1998,(1).DOI:
zinc andiron in the alloxan-induced diabetic rat diaphragm muscles
ad detected their activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and contents of malondiadehyde(MDA). The results indicated that the copper and zinc were lower and the iron was higher in diabetic rat diaphragm muscles than in control group
but in manganese
there were no significant defferences between control and diabetic group
The activites of SOD decreased significantly and the contents of MDA increased significantly in diaphragm of diabetic rats as compared with the control group
In diaphragm of the diabetic rats. The results suggest that the changes of the contents of Cu
Zn
Fe and the increases of oxidative stress in diaphragm may be related to the early diabetes
The zinc plays an importment role in lipid Peroxidation of diabetic diaphragm.
