n vivo antibacterial activities of Chuang Yu Ding were studied . The Mice were scaleded in water at 70℃ for 13 seconds resulting to shallow partial thickness burn. Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC278553 or staphylococcus auras ATCC25932(109 CFU/ml) were smeared on the burn wounds 60 minutes after injury. Experimental animals were divided into 6 groups. Chuang Yu Ding with 200% or 100% or 50% solution was applied to the wounds of animals in the treated group 1 or 2 or 3. The silver sulfadizine solution was applied to the wound in the group 4. Saline or excipient was applied to the wound on control group 5 or 6. E Xperimental results indicated that Chuang Yu Ding was proved valuable in the treatment of burn wound infection used by invading organisms
