Indexes of left ventricular diastolic and systolic function were measured by doppler echocardiography in 32 diabetic patients without clinical evidence of heart disease and the heatlthy control subjects.The results showed that VPdecreased in the diabetic patients comparing with that in the healthy control subjects (62.92 ±16.97 vs 90. 87±7.13 P<0.05) and AmAcc also decreased (84.88±8.29 vs 97.00±7.15
P<0.05).These results suggest that the indexes of doppler echocardiography are accurate and sensitive in evaluation of the left ventricular function of diabetes mellitus
especially the united evaluation of various indexes
