Objective:To discuss the clinical value of pelvic devascularlization in prevention and treatment for gynaecology and obstetrics refractory hemorrhage.Methods:To analyze retrospectively the effect of 15 cases of obstetrics

2 cases of preventing hemorrhage

5 cases of gynaecology refractory hemorrhage

all of these are treated by pelvic devascularlization.Results:There are 2 cases of placenta praevia of central type

20 cases of gynaecology and obstetrics refractory hemorrhage

uterus was preserved in 21 cases

hysterectomy was performed in one case for the failure of embolization.No complivations occurred in the 22 case after pelvic-devascurlarlization.Conclusions:The rate of curing can be elevated and the mortality can be lowered by pelvic devascularlization in gynaecology and obstetrics refractory hemorrhage cases

it can preserve patient’s fertility

and can be used as preventive treatment for high risky cases.
