Objective:To investigate the individual serum tauro-conjugated bile acid concentration in patients with Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy(ICP) by high performance liquid chromatography-tendem mass spectro-metry(HPLC-MS/MS).Methods:Bile acids were extracted from serum samples of ICP
ICP with Diabetes Mellitus
ICP with Virus Hepatitis patients and normal pregnant women.Serum tauro-conjugated bile acids were measured by HPLC-MS/MS.Results:The serum levels of taurocholic acid(TCA)
taurochenode-oxycholic acid(TCDCA) and taurodeoxycholic acid(TDCA) in the three groups of ICP
ICP with Diabetes Mellitus
and ICP with Virus Hepatitis were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01)
and the differences and were 15-fold
5-fold
3-fold
respectively. The serum levels of TCA and TCDCA were statistically different among each two of patients of ICP
ICP with Diabetes Mellitus
ICP with Virus Hepatitis respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion:The concentrations of individual tauro-conjugated bile acids have specific features in ICP patients.
