Objective:To evaluate the effect ofthe treatment for children bone cyst with Elastic steel-wire and bone graft after thorough curettage of the capsular space.Methods:From 2005 to 2007

26 patients were treated with the means of Elastic steel-wire and bone graft after thorough curettage of the capsular space

and followed-up for 1 to 3 years.There were 15 cases of proximal humerus

9 cases of proximal femoral bone

and 2 cases of tibia.Results:There were 21 cases of complete recovery

accounting for 81%;5 cases of partial recovery

accounting for 19%.There was no recurrence.Conclusion:The effect of the treatment for children bone cyst with Elastic steel-wire and bone graft after thorough curettage of the capsular space is remarkable

which should be applied widely.
