Abstract
Tuberculosis is one of the infectious diseases that seriously threaten human health. The number of patients with tuberculosis in China ranks third in the world. After human infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis
some patients have no clinical manifestations and failed to take the initiative to see a doctor in time
which often leads to missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis of tuberculosis and delays the best treatment time. Some patients will have aggravated conditions or turn into bacteria-positive patients
become the source of infection
and increase the risk of disease transmission. Active screening for tuberculosis can compensate for the shortcomings of traditional passive detection methods and improve the detection rate of pulmonary tuberculosis
but it is necessary to explore cost-effective active detection models. General practitioners are the ″gatekeepers″of residents’ health
who play a vital role in tuberculosis prevention and control.
