Objective To explore the effect of standardized quantitative nursing pathway in the care of patients admitted for uterine fibroid surgery. Methods A total of 122 patients with uterine fibroid surgery admitted to a hospital in Henan Province from January 2019 to November 2021 were selected as subjects

who were assigned to a control group and an observation group using the random number table method

with 61 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received conventional care

and patients in the observation group standard quantitative care in addition to the conventional care. The time of hospitalization

postoperative anal venting and urinary catheter removal were recorded for the 2 groups. The occurrence of adverse reactions at the time of discharge was compared between the 2 groups. The Short Form 36（SF-36） Health Survey was used to assess the quality of life of patients in the two groups before and at 2 months of care. Results The time to hospitalization

bed activity

post-operative passage of gas by anus

and urinary catheter removal in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group

and all differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）. The complication rate of patients in the observation group was 3.28%

which was lower than that of the control group（21.31%）

and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）. Before nursing

there was no significant difference in the scores of mental health

physical activity

physical pain

social function

emotional intelligence

and physiological function in the SF-36 between the two groups（P>0.05）. After nursing

the scores of mental health

physical activity

physical pain

social function

emotional intelligence

and physiological function in SF-36 of the two groups were higher than those before nursing

and the observation group was higher than the control group

with statistical significance（P<0.05）. Conclusion The standard quantitative nursing pathway shows established effectiveness in the nursing of patients underwent uterine fibroid surgery.It can promote postoperative recovery

prevent the occurrence of complications

and improve the quality of life of patients after surgery.These advantages justify a wider application of this nursing clinically.
