Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Compound Danshen Injection combined with growth inhibitor in the treatment of hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis（HLAP）. Methods A total of 114 patients with（HLAP） admitted to a hospital in Yichang from April 2016 to April 2018 were selected as subjects

and were assigned to a study group and a control group using random number table method

with 57 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received conventional western medicine

while the patients in the study group received the Compound Danshen Injection combined with growth inhibitor in addition to the conventional western medicine

and patients in both groups were treated continuously for 2 weeks. The clinical efficacy and related symptom indexes of patients in the two groups were compared

and the indexes related to coagulation function [activated partial thromboplastin time（APTT）

prothrombin time（PT）

D-dimer（DD）]

inflammatory factors [C-reactive protein（CPR）

tumor necrosis factor-α（TNF-α）

interleukin-6（IL-6）]

triacylglycerol（TG）

and serum amylase（SAMY）

urinary amylase（UAMY） levels

and immune function-related indexes [immunoglobulin A（Ig A）

immunoglobulin M（Ig M）

immunoglobulin G（Ig G）] were compared in the two groups before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of treatment for patients in the study group was 92.98%

which was higher than that of the control group（78.95%）

and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）. The time to abdominal pain relief

time to first bowel movement

time to gastrointestinal decompression and length of hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the control group

and the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）. After treatment

APTT and PT were longer in the 2 groups than before treatment

and with the study group longer than the control group

and the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）. The levels of DD

CRP

TNF-α

IL-6

TG

SAMY and UAMY were lower than those before treatment in both groups

with the study group lower than the control group

and the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）. The levels of Ig A

Ig M and Ig G in the 2 groups were higher than those before treatment

with the study group higher than the control group

and the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）. Conclusion The Compound Danshen injection in combination with growth inhibitor has good therapeutic effect on HLAP

which can effectively improve patients’ coagulation function

inflammatory response and immune function

and reduce TG

SAMY and UAMY levels. These benefits justify a wider application prospects of this therapy in clinical practice.
