Objective To explore the value of goal-oriented rehab combined with whole course health education in the perioperative care of patients undergoing femoral neck fracture surgery. Methods Eighty-one patients undergoing femoral neck fracture surgery admitted to a hospital in Zhengzhou from January 2019 to December 2020 were enrolled for the study were divided into a study group(41 cases
receiving goal-oriented rehab combined with whole course health education) and a control group(40 cases
receiving conventional care) according to the method of strategy of perioperative care. The Hamilton anxiety rating scale(HAMA)
Hamilton depression rating scale(HAMD)
and Harris hip scores(Harris) were compared before and after the intervention
and the postoperative complications were compared between the two groups of patients. Results Before the intervention
there was no statistically significant difference between the HAMA and HAMD scores of the two groups(P>0.05); after the intervention
the HAMA and HAMD scores of the two groups were lower than those before the intervention and lower in the study group than in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). The differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05) between the Harris scores of the two groups before the intervention; after the intervention
the Harris scores of pain
gait
functional activity
deformity and mobility were higher in both groups and higher in the study group than in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). The difference was statistically significant(χ~2=3.961
P<0.05) when comparing the incidence of compilations between the two groups. Conclusion Applying goal-oriented rehab combined with whole course health education in the perioperative care of patients with femoral neck fractures is effective; it can effectively reduce negative perioperative emotions and improve the motor function of patients’ limbs.
