Objective To explore the application value of integrated medical and nursing care based on the concept of case analysis in patients with respiratory failure treated with BiP AP ventilator.Methods Eighty patients with respiratory failure treated with BiP AP ventilator who attended a hospital in Henan province from January 2020 to April 2021 were selected for this study.A random number table was used to divide the patients into a control group and an observation group

with 40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received nursing intervention of conventional assisted BiP AP ventilator therapy

and patients in the observation group were given integrated medical and nursing care based on the concept of case analysis.The treatment compliance

and ventilator ventilation time of patients in the 2 groups were compared.the self-rating anxiety and depression scales（SAS

SDS） scores of patients in the 2 groups before the intervention and at the time of discharge were compared.The adverse risk events that occurred during hospitalization were compared between the 2 groups.Results The treatment compliance of patients in the observation group was higher than that of the control group

and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.The length of hospitalization and ventilator ventilation time of patients in the observation group was shorter than those in the control group

and the differences were statistically significant（P <0.05）.Before the intervention

there was no statistically significant difference between the SAS and SDS scores of patients in the 2 groups（P>0.05）.At the time of discharge

the SAS and SDS scores of patients in the 2 groups were lower than those before the intervention and lower in the observation group than in the control group

all with statistically significant differences（P<0.05）.The incidence of adverse risk events was also significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group（P<0.05）.Conclusion The clinical effect of integrated medical and nursing care based on the concept of case analysis in the care of patients with respiratory failure treated with BiP AP ventilator is significant

which can effectively improve patients’ negative emotions

improve treatment compliance

shorten the recovery time and reduce the occurrence of risk events

and is worthy of clinical promotion.
