Objective To explore the effect of accountability-based holistic intervention combined with anticipatory intervention in patients in the recovery period of cerebral hemorrhage. Methods One hundred and forty-two patients admitted to a hospital in Henan Province during the rehabilitation period of cerebral hemorrhage from May 2018 to May 2021 were selected for the study and were divided into a study group and a control group using the lottery method
with 71 cases in each group. All patients were given conventional treatment
and patients in the control group were given accountability-based holistic intervention on this basis
while patients in the study group were given anticipatory intervention on the basis of the control group. The intervention effect
quality of life and depression and anxiety status of the patients in the 2 groups were compared before and after the intervention. Results The total effective rate of intervention for patients in the study group was 94.37%
which was higher than 78.87% in the control group
and the difference was statistically significant(χ
2
=7.352
P=0.007). After the intervention
the Hamilton depression rating scale(HAMD) and Hamilton anxiety rating scale(HAMA) scores of patients in the 2 groups were lower than those before the intervention
and those of the study group were lower than the control group
and the differences were all statistically significant(P
<
0.05). After the intervention
the scores for physical life
psychological function
neurological function and social function were higher in the 2 groups than before the intervention
and those of the study group were higher than the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P
<
0.05). Conclusion Accountability-based holistic intervention combined with anticipatory intervention for patients recovering from cerebral hemorrhage can help improve patients’ anxiety and depression and improve their quality of life.
