Objective: To investigate the effect of the integrated doctor-nurse-patient model based on the con-cept of enhanced recovery after surgery in patients undergoing integrated day surgery for great saphenous varicoseveins. Methods: A total of 92 hospitalized patients with great saphenous varicose veins who underwent day surgeryin Yongchuan Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University from November 2018 to October 2019 were en-rolled and divided into control group with 38 patients and experimental group with 54 patients. Conclusion:The integrated doctor-nurse-patient model based on the concept of enhanced recovery after surgery can improve thequality of nursing for hospitalized patients undergoing day surgery for great saphenous varicose veins.
