Objective To explore the impact of the "whole chain" intelligent medical and health care service model on the quality of life of the elderly. Methods Two hundred elderly people living in a community in Zhengzhou City from October 2018 to October 2019 were selected as the study subjects. Using a random number table
the subjects were divided into a control group and a study group
with 100 cases in each group. The elderly in the control group were given routine services
and the elderly in the study group received "whole-chain" integrated medical and health care services on the basis of the control group. At the end of 2 months of service
the service satisfaction of the two groups was compared. The GQOLI-74 scores were compared before and at 2 months of service. Results The service satisfaction rate of the elderly in the study group was 92.00%
which was higher than that of the control group(84.00%)
and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). At 2 months of service
the scores in the health status
physical function
social function
and mental health dimensions and the total score of GQOLI-74 were(76.72±2.34)
(77.39±2.46)
(73.34±2.48)
(80.26±1.43)
and(76.73±4.24) in the study group
higher than those of the control group
which were(67.49±2.18)
(64.23±2.09)
(60.18±2.16)
(69.18±1.18) and(68.35±5.18)
with statistically significant differences(P <0.05). Conclusion The "whole-chain" intelligent medical care service can improve the quality of life and service satisfaction of the elderly
and it is worthy of promotion and application.
