Objective To study and analyze the situation of community home care service for the elderly in the urban area

and propose countermeasures and development ideas.Methods Questionnaire method was adopted and 1 006 people aged more than 50 year-old were surveyed as randomly in the urban area in Chongqing.A comprehensive survey about the present situation of community home care service for the elderly in the urban area and the attitude of the elderly was conducted.Results Only 2.8% of questionnaire respondents had community home care service at present;50.5% of respondents thought the weakness of community home care service was that when self-care is inconvenient or accident happens

people could not get help timely

43.6%respondents considered that it was inconvenient to get medical service from community home care service.Conclusion The development of community home care mode for the elderly is an inevitable trend.Only by combining home care and "Internet+"

could the demands of the elderly be satisfied.
