Objective To investigate the clinical value of monitoring blood glucose in the third trimester of pregnancy of women with gestational diabetes mellitus（GDM）.Methods 86 cases of GDM women who had pregnancy tests and childbirth from February 2013 to February 2014 in the Fifth Hospital of Wuhan were taken as research objects and were divided into a good control group（56cases）and a poor control group（30cases）according to the control of blood glucose in the third trimester of pregnancy.Fetal heart monitor parameters

（6.16±1.08）mmol/L and（6.89±0.58）%

significantly lower than the poor control group and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion Close monitoring of blood glucose in the third trimester of pregnancy of GDM women and its effective treatment can control blood glucose at normal level and improve maternal and infant pregnancy outcomes.
